In 2016 Future Metals Recycling was renamed to Future Recycling and from there the company came into its own. Having diversified its portfolio, which had originally been in metal recycling dating back to 2008, to include waste and cardboard recycling collection services, the business helmed by Tyrone Landsman, who became the sole owner in 2018, has gone from strength to strength.

Part of the Future Recycling business model is to give back to our local community, connect with future employees and ensure we are socially responsible. Across the country, there are thousands of students who do not have their own laptop in order to give them equity of access to education. This is why we got involved in This Is ‘IT’. Established in 2019, by a small group of business people, located in the south east region of Melbourne, This Is ‘IT’ provides scholarships to students without laptops.
